## Presentation

I am a lecturer at the department of mathematics and statistics
at the University of Limerick.

I prepared my Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Pr.
Habib Ammari at the Centre de Mathématiques
Appliquées of the Ecole
Polytechnique.

The title of the thesis is "Mathematical modeling
in optics". I studied electromagnetic diffraction by objects with
nonlinear thin-coating and modelisation of photonic crystals.
